Irish Film Institute
Are you fond of documentaries and independent movies? Then the IFI located in the cultural area of Temple Bar is the right place for you to go. Enjoy movies from the past and present and join the after-discussions if you like. The institute also features a hip café and a gift shop. The goal is to exhibit the newest movies, preserve the oldest ones and to educate new audiences about film culture.
Theatre
The theatre has a very important spot in the heart of the Dubliners as it’s the city of literature, poetry and visual performances. The Bord Gais Energy Theatre, only opened recently is an award-winning venue features plays, musicals, concert and any kind of artistic performances. It’s the perfect venue for a night out in Dublin city. Enjoy a candle-light dinner at one of Dublin’s many restaurants followed by a spectacular show at the theatre.
